A two-vehicle collision in Wagoner County on Wednesday afternoon left six people injured, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The crash happened around 3:45 p.m. on May 27 at the intersection of State Highway 16 and East 749 Road.

According to OHP, a 27-year-old Wagoner woman driving Unit 1 was attempting to turn north onto SH-16 from East 749 Road when she reportedly failed to yield at a stop sign and struck another vehicle.

The driver of Unit 1 was injured in the collision. Five passengers inside the vehicle were also reported injured. Troopers noted that seatbelts were not in use by all occupants in the vehicle.

The driver of the second vehicle, a 54-year-old man from Hobbs, New Mexico, was not injured. Authorities said he was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

No fatalities were reported. The collision remains under investigation by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
