Lunch with Character – Featuring Dan Mahoney

The Owasso Character Council invites the community to its 2026 Lunch with Character, an afternoon celebrating resilience, community and the character that carries us through life’s challenges.

This year’s featured speaker is Dan Mahoney, Vice President of Broadcasting & Corporate Communications for the Oklahoma City Thunder.

With decades of experience in communications, broadcasting and public service, Mahoney brings a unique perspective on resilience, community and the stories that shape Oklahoma. His years with the Thunder and in Oklahoma communications have given him a front-row seat to the importance of strength, character and community.

The luncheon will focus on this year’s theme of RESILIENCE — Recovering from Adversity, and the idea that character is revealed in how we respond to challenges, change and one another.
