A 32-year-old Sand Springs man was seriously injured Sunday afternoon after losing control of his motorcycle in west Tulsa County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at approximately 4:37 p.m. on June 28 near the intersection of West 41st Street South and South 261st West Avenue.
Troopers reported the motorcyclist was traveling westbound on 41st Street South when he lost control of the motorcycle. The rider laid the bike down and suffered significant injuries in the crash.
He was transported to St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, where he is receiving treatment.
The rider’s identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
