06/03/26 – An Owasso man has been arrested following an investigation into a shooting incident that occurred in the Silver Creek Addition early Tuesday morning.

According to the Owasso Police Department, officers responded to a report of shots fired at approximately 2:00 a.m. on June 2 near 89th Street North and 139th East Avenue. When officers arrived, they discovered multiple bullet holes in a residence and collected evidence indicating that shots had been fired into the home from the street.

During the initial investigation, the homeowner provided information about a possible suspect connected to a previous confrontation. Officers spent the night and the following day gathering evidence, including reviewing surveillance footage from nearby homes. Investigators also executed a search warrant on the suspect’s vehicle and conducted an interview with the individual.

As a result of the investigation, 38-year-old Nicholas Steven Wylie of Owasso was arrested. He was transported to the Owasso Police Department for booking before being taken to the Tulsa County Jail.

Wylie has been charged with Shooting with Intent to Kill, a felony offense.

The investigation remains ongoing, and additional details may be limited at this time.

It is important to note that an arrest is not a conviction. All suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
