Brittney White

09/14/2026 – A 17-year-old is expected to survive after being shot multiple times during an altercation at a Tulsa apartment Sunday afternoon.

According to the Tulsa Police Department, officers responded around 12:41 p.m. to a reported shooting at an apartment near 68th Street and Yale Avenue.

When officers arrived, they found a 17-year-old suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, including a wound to the face. Officers provided medical aid until paramedics arrived and transported the teen to a hospital. Police said he is expected to survive.

Investigators said the shooting began with an argument inside an apartment involving the teen and 33-year-old Brittney White. Police said both were armed and began struggling over their firearms.

According to investigators, White gained control of both guns and allegedly fired at the teen as he attempted to get away, striking him several times.

Police said White came out of the apartment when officers arrived and surrendered both firearms. Investigators also said White has previous felony convictions and is prohibited from possessing a firearm.

White was arrested and booked into the Tulsa County Jail on allegations of Shooting with Intent to Kill After Former Conviction of a Felony and Possession of a Firearm After Former Conviction of a Felony.

The charges are allegations, and White is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
