The Tulsa Police Department’s Motorcycle Unit has one final opportunity this year for riders looking to sharpen their skills.
The department’s last FREE Motorcycle Skills Course of 2026 will be held Saturday, Sept. 26, with the class typically running from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The course is not intended for those who have never ridden a motorcycle. Instead, it is designed for riders who already have basic riding skills and want to improve their abilities and become safer, more confident riders.
Participants are required to have:
  • A street-legal motorcycle
  • A valid driver’s license with an “L” endorsement (previously “M”)
  • Insurance
  • Helmet
  • Eye protection
  • Gloves
  • Long-sleeve shirt
  • Boots that cover the ankle
Those interested in attending the final class can register by emailing TPDShareTheRoad@cityoftulsa.org.
Additional information about the Motorcycle Safety Course is available through the Tulsa Police Department’s website.
