Owasso Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a woman in connection with an alleged identity theft, false personation and fraud incident at First Bank of Owasso near 86th Street North and 129th East Avenue.

According to police, the incident occurred at approximately 1 p.m. on August 13. Bank management reported that the woman allegedly attempted to withdraw a significant amount of money from a victim’s checking account using false or altered identification.

The woman is described as a white female wearing glasses, with gray hair or possibly a wig. She was wearing a flower-patterned shirt with a light-colored sweater.

Police say the victim does not know the identity of the woman.
