Just after 4 p.m., the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office received a call from a Collinsville-area resident near 138th Street North and 117th East Avenue reporting a home invasion and assault.
According to initial information, the suspect allegedly forcibly entered the home, assaulted the resident and fled with money and the homeowner’s vehicle.
Information on the stolen vehicle was entered into the Flock camera system, which later alerted to the vehicle in Owasso.
Owasso Police officers located the vehicle near 86th and Hwy 169 and were able to surround the suspect and take him into custody. The suspect was then turned over to Tulsa County authorities.
