The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics (OBN) Marijuana Enforcement Teams executed a search warrant Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 18 Drops LLC, located at 17625 Gun Club Road in Okmulgee.
According to OBN, the search warrant was part of an ongoing investigation into illegal marijuana cultivation and allegations that an OBN registration was obtained fraudulently through a “straw ownership” scheme.
During the operation, OBN agents seized 7,358 marijuana plants and 398 pounds of processed marijuana. Five people were also taken into the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
OBN says additional arrests are anticipated as the investigation continues.
Agents with the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry also discovered illegal pesticides at the property and obtained a separate search warrant to seize them.
Several agencies assisted OBN’s Marijuana Enforcement Teams during the operation, including Homeland Security Investigations, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry, Oklahoma Highway Patrol, District 25 Drug Task Force, Okmulgee County Sheriff’s Office, Okmulgee County EMS and the Okmulgee County Commissioner’s Office.
OBN’s Marijuana Enforcement Teams were created in 2021 to target domestic and transnational criminal organizations allegedly involved in black-market marijuana trafficking, money laundering and fraud within Oklahoma’s marijuana industry.
According to OBN, Oklahoma had approximately 8,400 marijuana grows operating with active OBN registrations at the program’s peak in 2022. That number has since fallen to 1,299.
Since early 2021, OBN reports its Marijuana Enforcement Teams have seized more than 2.5 million illegal marijuana plants and 300,000 pounds of processed marijuana, while making more than 450 arrests. Additional arrests remain pending in ongoing investigations.
