A man has been arrested following an investigation that began after a tip jar was reportedly stolen from a Claremore restaurant.

On the evening of September 5, Rogers County deputies learned of a social media post regarding the theft. Security footage reportedly captured two individuals involved, and information provided by members of the public helped authorities identify the suspects.

Investigators also recognized the pair as possible suspects in a separate burglary reported at a Sinclair gas station the previous night.

During the investigation, Rogers County deputies took Carson Ball into custody and transported him to the Rogers County Jail.

Ball was arrested on allegations of second-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit a felony, malicious injury to property, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Authorities said a juvenile suspected of being involved remains outstanding. The investigation is ongoing.

The Rogers County Sheriff’s Office credited information from members of the public with helping investigators identify those suspected of being involved.

The charges are allegations. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
