A woman from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, has died after falling from a moving vehicle in Gulf Shores, Alabama, early Sunday morning, according to the Gulf Shores Police Department.
Emergency crews were dispatched around 1 a.m. Sunday to the 2000 block of Gulf Shores Parkway, where they found 39-year-old Jaclyn Marie Chapman suffering from critical injuries.
During the investigation, officers determined that Chapman had been a passenger in a vehicle traveling in the 11000 block of West Fort Morgan Road just minutes earlier when she fell from the moving vehicle.
Chapman was transported to a local hospital for emergency treatment. Despite lifesaving efforts by medical personnel, she later died from her injuries.
The circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation by the Gulf Shores Police Department. No additional information has been released
