A 30-year-old Tulsa man is behind bars after being arrested on multiple sex crime charges.
According to authorities, members of the U.S. Marshals Service Northern Oklahoma Violent Crimes Task Force, with assistance from the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, arrested Xavier Alan Williams on Friday in Tulsa.
Williams was wanted on several charges, including Second-Degree Rape, Possession and Distribution of Child Sexual Abuse Material, Soliciting a Minor for Indecent Exposure/Child Sexual Abuse Material, and Using Technology to Engage in Sexual Communication with a Minor.
Officials said Williams was taken into custody without incident and was booked into the Tulsa County Jail.
Court records show he is being held on a $400,000 bond.
The case remains under investigation.
As with all criminal cases, the charges are allegations, and Williams is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
