Fatal Motorcycle Crash Reported in Muskogee County

May 4th 2026 – A fatal collision occurred on May 2, 2026, at approximately 12:41 p.m. on Sunday, May 3rd at OK-62 at North 64th Street West in Muskogee County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Authorities report that a motorcyclist, identified as 52-year-old Paul W. Mauney of Broken Arrow, was traveling eastbound in the outside lane of OK-62. At the same time, a separate, non-contact vehicle was stopped in the inside lane, waiting to turn left onto North 64th Street West.

A westbound vehicle, driven by 19-year-old Keyirish N. Clark of Muskogee, attempted to turn left onto South 64th Street West and was struck by the eastbound motorcycle.

Mauney was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured. No passengers were involved in the collision.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol confirmed that next of kin have been notified. The incident remains under investigation.
