A motorcycle rider and passenger were injured Sunday afternoon in a collision on New Prue Road north of Imperial Boulevard in Osage County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at approximately 2:48 p.m. on June 21. Troopers reported that a southbound vehicle was attempting to turn into a private driveway when it entered the path of a northbound motorcycle. The motorcycle struck the turning vehicle.
The motorcycle was occupied by a 66-year-old Tulsa man and one passenger. Both sustained injuries in the crash. Authorities noted that neither the motorcycle rider nor the passenger was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.
The driver of the other vehicle, a 37-year-old Tulsa man, was not injured.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said next of kin notifications have been made.
