According to the preliminary report, the crash happened at approximately 11:04 a.m. on July 22, 2026, near U.S. Highway 69 and County Road W. 93rd Street South.
Troopers said both vehicles were traveling northbound on U.S. Highway 69 when one vehicle slowed to make a left turn. A second vehicle traveling behind it was unable to stop and struck the turning vehicle from the rear.
The driver of the striking vehicle, 47-year-old Charity D. Royse of Muskogee, was injured in the collision. The driver of the second vehicle, 74-year-old Michael J. Majors of Tulsa, was not injured. The second vehicle was identified as a commercial motor vehicle.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. No passengers were involved, and no fatalities were reported.
The collision remains under investigation by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
