Owasso Fire and Medics responded Thursday morning to assist the Limestone Fire Department with a house fire in the 7500 block of North 150th East Avenue.
According to dispatch reports, crews were called to the scene just before 8:30 a.m. The fire reportedly started in the home’s garage before quickly spreading to the rest of the structure. An Owasso Police Department drone photo from the scene shows the extent of the fire.
Medics evaluated the homeowner after reports that they had suffered minor burns. Information on the severity of the injuries has not been released. A deceased pet was found upstairs in the home.
Firefighters remained on scene for approximately two hours working to extinguish the blaze and ensure there were no remaining hot spots.
The American Red Cross was contacted to assist the family following the fire.
The cause of the fire has not been released.
