The City of Owasso is inviting neighborhoods across the community to take part in the 30th Annual Citywide Block Party, scheduled for Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Hosted with the assistance of the City’s Office of Strong Neighborhoods, the annual event encourages neighbors to come together for a day of fun, fellowship, and community spirit.
Registration Information
Neighborhoods interested in participating are encouraged to register as early as possible to help the City coordinate services and scheduling.
Important details include:
- City Services: Neighborhoods located within the Owasso city limits may request visits from the Owasso Police Department, Owasso Fire Department, and Public Works, giving residents the opportunity to meet first responders and city crews while exploring their equipment.
- Neighborhoods located outside the city limits but within the Owasso fence line are eligible for visits from the Owasso Fire Department only.
- Application Deadline: Friday, August 21, 2026.
- Block Party Captain T-Shirt: Each registered Block Party Captain will receive one complimentary T-shirt. Additional shirts may be purchased for $12 each, and shirt sizes should be included with the registration.
- Barricades & Signs: Every participating neighborhood will receive road barricades and two Block Party signs for neighborhood entrances. New this year, Public Works will deliver barricades directly to each neighborhood, so applicants should provide a specific delivery address when registering.
The City of Owasso looks forward to celebrating three decades of bringing neighbors together and encourages residents to register their neighborhood for another memorable day of community fun.
Residents can register online by completing the Block Party Registration Form at the City of Owasso Block Party Registration page.
