Meals on Wheels Tulsa is expanding its reach in the Owasso area and is now offering meal delivery services on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
The organization is currently looking to connect with more homebound individuals in Owasso who may benefit from its services. While many people know Meals on Wheels for delivering nutritious meals, the organization also provides several additional forms of support designed to help isolated individuals remain safe, connected, and cared for in their homes.
In addition to meal delivery, services may include:
- Pet food assistance
- Wellness check phone calls
- Home safety checks
- Referrals to additional community resources
The goal is not only to provide meals, but also meaningful social contact multiple times each week for seniors and other homebound residents who may be living alone.
