05/21/26 – The City of Owasso has announced that the Owasso Gold Agers Foundation is in the process of dissolving and has generously donated more than $476,000 to the city to benefit the local senior citizen community.

Following discussions with the Foundation, city staff drafted Resolution 2026-09, which was approved by the Owasso City Council on Tuesday. The resolution officially accepts the funds and reserves them for the construction, development, or renovation of a facility dedicated to senior programs and services.

City officials said the donation will help support future opportunities and expanded facilities focused on serving Owasso’s senior population for years to come. The City of Owasso expressed its appreciation for the generous contribution and reaffirmed its commitment to valuing and supporting the community’s senior citizens.
